TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE 07.01.23

DEPOSITS.  A 1/3 deposit is required to place your order with the factory. 

BALANCES.  Balances are due at time of delivery by check or by bank card, or If you are unable to take delivery within 30 days of arrival at our warehouse.

DELIVERY.  A $75 In-Home Delivery Fee is charged for local delivery (under 50 miles), 51-150 miles $150.  Over 150 miles, please check with your sales associate.  Make sure the furniture will fit and that the space is accessible.  Sorry but we don’t move existing furniture room to room or provide extensive rearranging services.  We can refer you to companies that provide that.

MOVING FURNITURE.  The movement of household goods between locations is regulated by the N.C. Utilities Commission and requires a special license. Unfortunately, we cannot transport any of your household goods to another location or dispose of the furniture that you are replacing.

RETURNS.  We do not deliver furniture on a trial basis; however, you may return furniture, excluding mattresses and special orders, purchased from our stock within 30 days of purchase for credit or refund of the merchandise.  An additional Pick-Up charge of $75 will apply in addition to the original delivery fee.

RESTOCKING FEE.  If you cancel or won’t accept merchandise ordered for you from a manufacturer, your 1/3 deposit will be forfeited as a restocking fee.

ONE YEAR SERVICE POLICY. Manufacturer warranties and policies vary.  Please check with an associate.  Generally, repair or replacement at the manufacturer’s option for defects in materials or workmanship.  Defects require inspection and documentation.  Bowen will assist in these services.    

UPHOLSTERY, LEATHERS, AND BEDDING.  Neither Bowen, nor the manufacturer, warrants wearing ability, colorfastness, stretching, shrinking, and cleanability.  Dye lot variations will occur between samples and final product.  Animal hair and stains void manufacturer warranty and service protections.  Comfort is not warranted.  

Bowen  makes no warranties, express or implied, with respect to the products described on your order and specifically makes no warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. Bowen will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use these products.
